Rippon Building

Built in 1913, it is being used as Municipal Corporation office since then. It is a part of a large municipal complex, which includes parks and gardens, the Nehru Stadium, Victoria Public Hall and Moore Market. Named after the Governor General of India, Lord Rippon, this building is one of the best examples of British architecture in India and has still preserved its vintage look. The building also has been a witness to a number of historical events.
